How to Get the Most from Your Team Insight Session

Once folks are booked, the most asked question before an Insight Session is: What do I ask???
This blog should turn your mind into a snap, crackle, pop of endless questions. While all the same suggestions apply for when you are preparing for a 1:1 Insight Session with Gina, there are additional considerations when preparing for a session about your work/service, and still more considerations when you are engaging as a team. Through real examples and sample questions, I’ll paint a picture of what is possible.
First, some shorthand
Here at RiSE we talk about working with entrepreneurs and change leaders who lead businesses and nonprofits. Actually though, there are endless types of leaders, coaches, consultants, healers, activists, and artists who find insights and transformation through our services. So, as you read this, please swap out the words that fit for you. Please know that yes, I am speaking to you if you are going to have a team session. Your team could be co-founders, co-owners, employees, collaborators, movement leaders, or any other blend of partners who have in common the commitment to a shared effort.
Clarify your intention
Even if you read this whole blog and you still don’t know what to ask, know that your spiritual squad wants you to fulfill your heart’s desire. So, the best preparation is to be clear about what your heartfelt intention that led you to seeking this connection between your earthly team and your divine team. (Did I mention this blog about clarifying your intention? 😉) To prove my point, even without asking, the Record Keepers are often eager to share affirmative messages that specify the nuanced potential of individual leaders and teams to realize their particular gifts.
Example:
- One health provider was told that even though she is a gifted healer already, her highest potential was to be a teacher of healers. She then received guidance on the progression of phases of her business to build from the current foundation to the platform that would allow her to service at that higher level. These messages were actually direct answers to questions she was considering but had not voiced to me and was afraid to bring up in the session.
Who do we serve?
Entrepreneurs, especially those starting a new venture our project, are often quite interested in understanding who they should be focused on as customers/clients and how to attract them. If you have this intention, we might explore soul agreement activations to awaken you and your people to each other. Also, some entrepreneurs have gotten guidance about how to activate an ongoing dialogue with their audience so they are continually moving towards each other and getting to know each other etherically.
Examples:
- One holistic health entrepreneur was guided to bring into her home each week a bouquet that would presence the energy and intelligence of her intended clients. Not only did each bouquet delight her sensually and keep her continually cognizant of the emerging relationship with future clients, but she was stimulated to receive insights about what she needed to create for those next-level clients. Both the feeling of connection with her audience and the rapid flow of ideas for course content brought new momentum to her business launch.
- An artist client created large scale canvasses. She was guided to meditate on who the future owner was for her next painting and to create from guidance about the images that would inspire that buyer. This was the opposite of her typical creative process, but she heartily embraced the idea that she was embedding in the art exactly what would attract the one who already desired the image.
Sample questions:
- Who is our intended audience? What are their specific characteristics? What do they most need to hear from us now?
- How can we best connect with those we are intended to serve most deeply
Partners
Another soul relationship that can be critical for entrepreneurial and creative efforts is partners such as investors, joint ventures, co-founders, and key team members. Entrepreneurs commonly explore the potential of various stakeholders and investors on the trajectory of the venture.
Examples:
- Multiple Insight Sessions that were focused on the highest potential for a startup helped a founder to prioritize funding development efforts...and to expand his patience for the convoluted process!
- Multiple Insight Sessions with an investor in a mature and changing business helped to re-calibrate relationships of her long-time partners through an energetic upleveling from the current state to the desired future relationships.
Sample questions:
- How well would each of these potential partners align with the essence and values of our organization?
- Which of these investors would best accelerate our path to profitability? What is the smoothest way forward for all partners?
When? When? When?
First, as I always say: an Insight Session is neither predictive nor prescriptive. You are simply informing your free will and dancing in the improvisational flow of life! To be explicit: Timelines are ever-changing due to innumerable influences. That being said, information is commonly available in the Records about the most supportive or likely timing for various choices and strategic developments. With the caveat that timelines can change easily as humans go about their business and the universe ripples on, clients often find this information quite supportive and, over time, quite accurate.
Example:
- A business owner and team member sought guidance on when they might be able to win back a major lost account and what they would need to do to be successful. The guidance was quite explicit about the lessons from losing the account, the potential for transformation starting with the energetic alignment of the founder, the priorities for the entire team, and the steps to court the former client once again.
Sample questions:
- What timing will be most conducive to complete our legacy offering and enroll new students in our new course?
- What timing for introducing our new service will best meet the needs of customers who are ready to buy?
Knowing your business, souls-to-soul
In Team Insight Sessions we are usually opening the Records for your shared business or organization or project. When we do this, two aspects of dialogue are available during the session. One is a soul-level conversation between you and your business. Non-human entities are still intentional energy clusters with their own Akashic Records and the capacity to communicate directly with us through signs, symbols, vibrations, experiences – and even more robustly through what I call an Akashic Dialogue. This is when your team has a direct conversation – with me as a relay channel – with the soul of the business: souls-to-soul.
When we create a business/company/organization/service/offering, it is like we are giving birth to something that is birthing itself. In other words, even though through the human perspective we feel we are the essential actors who have created something, it is just like a human baby: its material existence may be fully dependent on the acts of humans, but it has a soul purpose and potentialities that pre-exist your actions. Therefore, your business can be your co-creator – revealing both itself and its perspective.
As an expression of the entrepreneurs’ vision, the business is often able to communicate a personality just like an individual word. This is helpful not only to clarify brand attributes but also a higher potential for what the business creators and the business can do together. Activating this soul-level dialogue helps to bring to life the deep possibilities of the central partnership, that is, the partnership between creators and created.
Example:
- When an entrepreneur accessed his Records and the Records of the business, the business came through with a distinctive, noble personality and an expansive view of its potential impact across generations. This greatly expanded and deepened the founder’s understanding of the true value of what he had created. The sessions also initiated the founder’s ability to receive insights about the business without my support.
The other aspect that is possible is to transcribe the energetic information available from the Recordkeepers for the business. By accessing the entity’s Records there is commonly information about the current nature of the organization, if healing is needed and how it can be pursued, and what is most wanting to be expressed through the organization. Businesses often bring forward deep gratitude for their founders and profound helpfulness about the potential of their collaboration. I know this may be new to think about a relationship that feels more personal between you and your organization or project, but just tune into how much vitality you feel when you are plugged into the potential of your work. That potential is based on the shared mutual vibration of you and this entity, not only on what is alive in you about this work.
Example:
- A team of social entrepreneurs, each leading different organizations across the social sector, opened the Records in a series of sessions about their shared vision to enhance the wellbeing of children and families in their communities. They were guided on a variety of choices and strategies to amplify the impact of their work – ranging from retaining consultants who had essential information about funding their work to guiding how best to engage high-ranking leaders of their institutions.
Sample questions:
- Who are you? What is your vision for impacting people through our shared work?
Now for something completely different!
Often in Insight Sessions, there is information that confirms clients’ intuition. Clients find that to be relieving, motivating, or liberating to hear their ideas echoed back to them through the Records. Often, though, there is surprising information for clients. Now, remember: everything about the Records is with love, through love and for more love! I’m not talking about a bad surprise. Often it is about elevating leaders’ perspective to the aerial view across time and space. For example, sometimes it is about initiating the leaders into a new level of their leadership, service, and fulfillment. Sometimes it is about releasing a pattern of contracted energy that is blocking expansion, but the leaders were not aware. Other times it is expressed as exalting a gift that is unique to that leader or team of leaders and the service they are being invited to provide at a particular time and place for a particular group of people.
Sample questions:
- What would unleash our highest level of service and success? How will we know we are achieving this service and success?
- What shift in our team would have the greatest positive impact on our work?
